One last post prior to getting our holiday magic on, just a little something extra to put under your tree. Here’s two X-mas classics from the Pacific Northwest, more specifically Tacoma, Washington (having been uh, lucky enough to have spent a few Christmases in Tacoma it seemed only appropriate). The tunes, one from early punks The Sonics and the other from their T-Town counterparts and garage pioneers The Wailers, come from the regrettably impossible to find 1965 Merry Christmas LP on the Wailers own label, Etiquette Records. If you haven’t yet discovered these absolutely groundbreaking bands, do yourself a favor and jump in already. C’mon, it’s Christmas!
